I am hearing that Ob/Gyn residency applicants are pulling their applications from red states. As someone who now lives in a red state, my heart breaks for the women here. But I also understand.

@jjfitzgeraldMD I don't post what I hear, I post facts. The fact is every red state ongyn residency filled the last 2 years and turned away many a disappointed applicant.

@londyloo Went to GYN for prolonged periods. Had a uterine biopsy in the office. GYN said I would experience some mild cramps which was true. Secretary said as I left "You just had that done? But I didn't hear screaming like usual." That's messed up.

@winemedineme It doesn’t have to be, patients are not being allowed to take it vantage of the excellent pain control options that are available to them for IUD placement.

@tizzie @winemedineme It doesn’t have to be. There’s medically proven ways to decrease pain during IUD insertion which are under utilized.
