@havinMidOff point I'm watching and it becomes obvious that they should be attacking more, entire batting is falling apart and suddenly a no. 6 or 7 will come and bash a quickfire 50. I understand individual skills can't really be captured but wanted this data, is there a way?

Jacob Bethell’s IPL 2026 vs pace needs context. Among batters with 50+ balls faced, Bethell has faced the highest median seam movement in the league: 0.51°. That means he has not just been facing pace. He has been facing the toughest seam conditions in the competition. (1/3)

His dismissals fit same pattern. Of Bethell’s 6 dismissals vs pace, 3 came on balls that seamed significantly. Another was slower ball that deviated sharply. Takeaway : there's technical question vs movement, but RCB and fans should judge him with the conditions in mind. (3/3)

That matters because high-seam balls are genuinely difficult. For pace-on deliveries with 0.6°+ seam movement, batters average only 23 and strike at 132. Bethell has repeatedly been exposed to that danger zone, especially up front. (2/3)

Why? Because it tells you how effective the bowler actually is at the death wrt yorkers. Some guys barely land yorkers but still don't leak runs because of raw pace, late swing or clever variations. Bumrah at 32.7% success but 7.7 RPO. Avesh Khan at 29.6% but 12.4 RPO. (2/3)

Yorker Success % in #IPL2026 Every pace bowler ranked by how often their attempted yorkers actually land post-PP. Bhuvi Kumar & S. Hussain are standouts using old ball swing to their advantage. But here's the interesting part - also tracked RPO off attempted yorkers (1/3)

It’s pretty clear now that the pitch offers plenty of seam movement in the first four overs. During GT’s opening spell, Kagiso managed a median seam movement of 0.62 degrees at a median speed of 148 kph, while Siraj extracted 0.54 degrees of movement.

Got Samson with an even better one - 2.4° from good length, textbook outswing bowling. Bhuvi then made full use of the friendlier second innings conditions, seaming it away 0.75° from a hard length to dismiss the dangerous Mhatre. (2/2)

RCB outclassed CSK in first 4 overs last game. CSK pacers managed median swing of 0.87° & seam of 0.16°. RCB's median swing was ~2° with 0.5° seam in. Duffy was exceptional, dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad. with a 2.15° outswinger, elite seam presentation and 0.85° away seam. (1/2)
