RURA informs the public that it is undertaking regulatory action in response to concerns regarding the quality of internet services provided by Canalbox Rwanda following customer complaints. Further to a prior enforcement notice, Canalbox has been formally invited to a hearing to provide clarifications and outline immediate corrective actions. RURA remains committed to upholding service standards and encourages the public to continue reporting any service quality issues.

RURA yafatiye ibihano GVA Rwanda Ltd (Canalbox) hashingiwe ku ngingo ya 269 y’Itegeko No. 24/2016 rigenga Ikoranabuhanga ry’Itumanaho mu Rwanda, kubera kudakurikiza amabwiriza byakomeje. Iyi sosiyete isabwa guha indishyi abakiliya bose bagizweho ingaruka hagati ya tariki ya 13–20 Mata 2026, kwishyura amande ya buri munsi kugeza igihe yubahirije amabwiriza yose, no gutanga raporo z’aho igeze mu ishyirwamubikorwa mu gihe cyagenwe. GVA yijeje RURA ko izubahiriza ibisabwa, kandi RURA izakomeza gukurikiranira hafi kugira ngo harebwe ko serivisi zisubira ku murongo neza. Amabwiriza ntatubahirizwa hazafatwa izindi ngamba ziteganywa n'amategeko.
