@JohnathanPerk I’d definitely notice that there are only white people. I might say something to my husband, but probably only afterwards.

Most cases of depression are a natural response to our broken society. We gain much of our sense of worth, purpose, meaning, and joy from our relationships. But those relationships have never been more systematically destroyed than they are today.

Daycare has been shown to harm the ability to bond and feel secure, especially for small babies. Their mental health outcomes later in life are impacted. Research proves this. Saying this out loud can get you fired.

If disabled people make you uncomfortable I challenge you to take a look at why that is. Confront your biases and then do better—don’t place the burden on disabled folks to accommodate your discrimination, intentional or not.

Normalize going into a healing cocoon where you disappear for a period of time to be alone, read, listen to podcasts, learn to set boundaries, and spend time in nature. You’ll be a completely different human being when you emerge.

It is never an outsiders place to comment on someone’s estrangement from their family. Doing so is dismissive of years of stories and heavy experiences the estranged person has walked through. Estrangement is a much needed (and very painful) result for many. Respect that.

Some reasons why some autistic people seem "more efficient" to allistic people: -See that they're not hitting the right socializing steps in group settings so tries to make up for it in work -Trusts that "working X hours" means working that entire time. 1/6
