Normalize going into a healing cocoon where you disappear for a period of time to be alone, read, listen to podcasts, learn to set boundaries, and spend time in nature.
You’ll be a completely different human being when you emerge.
It is never an outsiders place to comment on someone’s estrangement from their family. Doing so is dismissive of years of stories and heavy experiences the estranged person has walked through. Estrangement is a much needed (and very painful) result for many. Respect that.
Some reasons why some autistic people seem "more efficient" to allistic people:
-See that they're not hitting the right socializing steps in group settings so tries to make up for it in work
-Trusts that "working X hours" means working that entire time.
