It's not just the designs, which are certainly a rogue choice. It's the treatment - IP has a brand, they've gone soft/washy on the lighting, they've gone too modern PBR hypersmooth instead of what looks like old Phong stuff. It's killed the 'Shrekness' of it all imo.

@IrisCreamCoffee @Lizzie_Baseball Completely true, memorisation is over prioritised and used as an all encompassing intelligence benchmark. I was one of those with awful memory, so was predicted stupid and ungifted, and then excelled later in University where problem solving and thinking overtook wrote learning.

@Lizzie_Baseball Also math, writing, history, science, everything we're taught in elementary school involves skills so vastly different from what we use in high school that "being good at math" in elementary school and high school are two completely different things.

For the first 14 years of my life, I was told I would do great things because I was so smart. When I first started struggling in high school, I would break down because I didn’t know how to handle it. Which only led to my mom yelling “You’re too smart to act like this” at me

@dieworkwear Lol - maybe. Maybe not full slim fit, but I do think the best look - at least for those within a standard deviation of an athletic build - is when the pants at least *generally* conform to the legs, rather than seemingly just serve as some cover that the legs move within.
