Outrageous! Disgusting! Feudal Waderas in Ghotki gang-raped a girl in front of her parents, filmed it, and blackmailed her. These powerful thugs rape freely while the #Pakistani state stays silent. Feudalism is a cancer destroying #Sindh. Pure barbarism! #JusticeForVictim

They teach you about how much evil Hitler was in the 20th century while leaving out how Germany wiped out more than 80% of Namibians before even WWI Germany only officially recognized it as a genocide in 2021, more than a century later, with no reparations and re-education

ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Delhi | In response to ANI's question on Chabahar Port, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says, "Chabahar port is one of the symbols of cooperation between Iran and India. We are so glad that Indians played an important role in the development of that port. It is now somehow slowed down because of the US sanctions. But I am confident that this port would be like a golden gate for India to access Central Asia, the Caucasus and then Europe through this transit route and also for Europeans, Central Asians and others to access the Indian Ocean... I hope that Indians would continue their work in Chabahar port so it would be fully developed at the service of the interests of India and other countries around. I think India, with its good reputation, can play a greater role in this region to help diplomacy and to promote peace and security. India is a friend to all countries in the Persian Gulf... We appreciate any positive constructive role played by India in this region."

@UrtiMachli I literally did, we spoke in our indigenous languages and then Punjabis also adopted urdu, yes it became linga franca in the 19th century somewhat then it was imposed by Pakistan. Anyway we’re talking in English now we don’t need Urdu.

@hazelnutdior we never ever interacted with each other for thousands of years, but then urdu graciously came so we could finally speak with each other in 1947

@UrtiMachli Low iq response, if you’re having cross cultural relations yes you learn the language, why is it incomprehensible for you to think Sindhis can speak Punjabi and vice versa but Urdu is totally fine as a second language? Pashtuns in Sindh do speak Sindhi fyi.

@hazelnutdior It doesnt. So, all Sindhis spoke Punjabi and all Punjabis spoke Sindhi? And if we bring Pashtuns and others into it too, then I guess everyone supposedly spoke everyone else's language, babylonically beautiful.

@hazelnutdior Great point. The answer is they spoke urdu (which was known as Hindustani back then) to communicate with each other. And this is well before the British Raj. I'm talking about the 1700s. Urdu as a Lingua Franca is almost 5 centuries old in the subcontinent not a new imposition

Green card processing is halted for Pakistanis but not for Indians - that’s a better proxy for where things stand.

Anti-Israel chalk messages (and stickers) have repeatedly appeared across Vancouver’s Oak Street, the historic Jewish corridor, since Oct. 7. From @scharatze to the VGH. Residents say they clean the slogans, report to @vancouverpolice @CityofVancouver but the solo pro-Palestinian activist they say is behind the campaign hasn't been charged. “I just want to go to the bus stop or walk around the park and not have to see this hate.” On @TheCJN's "North Star" podcast we go inside Vancouver’s Israel-Gaza chalk war. 🎧thecjn.ca/news/vancouver…
