Tell me, do you think the return of tourism was a help or hindrance? Was it handled correctly by authorities? Was it too soon, or a welcome relief? You don't have to work in tourism; I'm keen to hear from anyone affected by these situations.

I'm looking to speak to locals of places that have been struck by natural disasters, to hear their thoughts on the responsible return of tourism for The Telegraph's travel section. eg New Orleans post-Katrina, New South Wales & California post-wildfires, Morocco post-earthquake.
