We celebrated Reading Day today with a read aloud over the announcements, a scavenger hunt, buddy reading, and an end of day “drop everything and read” time.

Our local fire station came to visit first grade today to go over fire safety and show off their cool trucks! Thank you HCFD.

Wheel Chair Basketball is always a fun way for students to learn about overcoming obstacles, appreciating differences, and learning about disABILITIES.

It was a successful first day. We had a Morning announcement crew ready to get started on day one! AND the kids did wonderful with outdoor eating. As we told the kids… we just accomplished something that did not happen last year; we had an in person first day!

Day 2 finished. Due to the amazing planning by Mrs. Hyun, set up work by our front office staff and paraeducators, and support by HCPSS we were able to get parents through quickly and efficiently. Thank you NES parents for all your smiles and positive comments.
