@heab_50 The alerts on FinCEN’s website will likely be a day or so behind, but they’ll be updated to respond to the rulings. Otherwise, most law firms of any size are tracking this like a hawk.

As the guy in the firm tasked with keeping everyone else updated on the status of this litigation . . . . lol.

@heab_50 Assuming no more procedural shenanigans, the Act is blocked again until the Fifth Circuit gets a chance to rule on the merits, which almost certainly won’t happen until sometime later next year.

@clintwfischer Where is the best place to keep informed on this case? Procrastinated in hopes it would not be required, but if the injunction is lifted, how would we know?

I guess sometimes it pays to procrastinate… Remember the Corporate Transparency Act and BOIR requirements I’ve been shouting from the rooftops? It's the new requirement where every LLC, Corporation, etc needs to let the federal gov't know who their beneficial owners are. Well, a U.S. district court judge has ruled the CTA ‘likely unconstitutional,’ granting a nationwide preliminary injunction that halts its enforcement. While no entity is currently required to comply, an appeal by the gov’t is likely and the injunction could be lifted at any time. So, I’d recommend still gathering your info so it’s available…just in case.

Anyone using an online calendar to manage employee schedules or know of any? Feature that would be beneficial is ability as supervisor to see all employee schedules at one glance but they can’t see their respective co-workers
