The way author focuses so much on him makes me think she will make him the ML or something, he got so many flashbacks and the focus always back to his backstory compared to the others and that annoys me because what's the point of that??

I hope the author isn’t planning some kind of redemption arc with all these backstory chapters to pity him, because I’d genuinely drop it. It’s already dragging so much — we’re 100 chapters in and we barely know anything about the ML and the FL. - Isn’t this their story?
