Really sad news out of Memphis. Brandon Clarke has died. He was 29.
He was great with kids. He had just established his own foundation and was committed to pouring into the Memphis community. I went to two of those events. Keep his family in prayers.

@heatharick @HeathPettyFB Exactly the answer I expected. You watched Carnell Tate highlights and saw a couple of under thrown deep balls and concluded that was a theme. Meanwhile Sayin was the most accurate quarterback in the country and one of the most accurate CFB QBs all time by any metric.

Just did a major deep dive on new Titans WR Carnell Tate. Here are my thoughts:
1. He catches everything. Julian Sayin did not always make plays easy on him, he bailed Sayin out multiple times. He's going to thrive in situations where Cam is scrambling and look to make a play.
2. His route running is special. The skill set that translates the most from college to NFL for a wide receiver is route running. (A guy like Treylon Burks who didn't learn routes at Arkansas is a great example of how important it is to be elite in that part of the game)
3. He's such a smooth receiver. Watching his game is visually satisfying. Everything looks easy for him. It's like watching Ray Allen shoot a basketball.
If I had to give a comp for him, I would go with D Hop. Not the biggest threat to take a slant 80 yards to the house, but they are both elite route runners with expectational hands.

@Buckeye311 @HeathPettyFB go count the amount of underthrows that Tate went up and grabbed on deep balls last season lol, he didnt say sayin was bad but i can think of a few throws off the top of my head that were a little short and tate made the play, i.e. his TD against Texas

JUST IN: Tip-off to be delayed to 4:30 central due to a fight that broke out between Draymond Green and a member of Memphis Grizzlies maintenance staff.
Sources say Draymond refused to let the staff work on the hoops during their shootaround which led to another player dunking and crashing the entire hoop. The Grizzlies will need the extra hours to repair damages.
