@knackeredmutha quick question, what tonic would you recommend to go with the cranberry and orange gin that you made for the other week on Saturday kitchen? Thank you 😊

What a powerful example of how occupational therapy supports people and society. OT Heather McLachlan explains how OT plays an essential role in rehabilitation and supporting people in prison. Read the full story. 👇🏾 #OTWeek24 loom.ly/e_AAsYs

@imacelebrity these tasks are ridiculous! The task tonight was a real challenge, great but last night(while I massively appreciate was high up) looked so much easier

@moutainwarehouse just wondering why my husband and I bought the same walking boots and why mine cost £30 more than his!!!!!! Apparently it's to do with how well things sell but surely the price difference shouldn't be the customers responsibility, or is it a male / female issue

@moutainwarehouse wondering why female walking boots are £30 more expensive than the exact same male boots? Feels like discrimination to me...

A patient said to me today “I just want to understand myself more. Doing this activity today has helped do that.” The power of meaningful occupations.

It’s so important to say hello to people & make everyone feel valued. @neilspenceley talks about this in one of his podcasts when he did a cleaning shift on his PICU unit and “inherited the power of invisibility” with his consultant colleagues ignoring him.

I was 17 when I arrived in the UK from Lebanon My first job was cleaning floors I remember how it felt when I said good morning to people & they wouldn't respond Today I'm an NHS psychiatrist & I treat ALL colleagues with respect & greet EVERYONE regardless of their role

The real perspective! Rehabilitation is so important
The Secret Prisoner@SecretPrisoner

#prison days were like groundhogs day.. same people, same routine, same chat, same walls.. imagine living in your bathroom, locked in, only an hour out (at best) for hundreds and hundreds of days on end! Insanity but somehow our resilience pulls us through the darkest of times.
