Turns out, I was wrong about Berlin Senate and Netrebko.
Anna Netrebko keeps performing in Berlin because the Staatsoper leadership keeps bringing her back deliberately.
Elisabeth Sobotka openly defends this line, presenting Netrebko as the best possible choice for major roles and as a star worth the backlash. This course was set earlier under former Intendant Matthias Schulz and is carried through by the Staatsoper management and the Stiftung Oper structure.
Against this stand Ukrainian organisations, open letters, Berliners protesting outside the opera house, and politicians such as Joe Chialo and Kai Wegner.
Netrebko keeps appearing because opera management keeps deciding that prestige and “artistic excellence” matter more than public protest.

Russia mobilizes 40–45 thousand people every month. We must eliminate roughly the same number of troops so that the Russian army doesn’t grow in size. Eliminate them simply so that Russia cannot expand its aggression. Over the past three months, we eliminated 30, 35, and 28 thousand Russian soldiers respectively. That is almost 100 thousand people. Just imagine how much Russia is sacrificing for this war.

Countries around the globe are rejecting Trump's "demand" in helping to resolve the crisis he fabricated in the Strait in Hormuz. Whether it is Europe, Asia, Australia or elsewhere, the rejection is almost unanimous.
However, there was one country which not only offered help right from the beginning, but also actually has sent help. It has been Ukraine. And this is how Trump responded:
"The last person we need help from is Zelenskyy!"
I don’t see how a stable partnership can be achieved with the USA while this man sits in the White House. The US Congress, which could mitigate a lot of damage, is absolutely feckless. I absolutely understand why virtually no government is willing to risk the life of a single soldier on what Trump might „feel in his bones“.

Showing up in a country under russian missiles is a far louder statement than any speech on that stage.
