Manu’s first fruit feast with Wildlife SOS 🍌🍎
Today marks Manu’s first day at our centre and we wanted to make it special for him! After everything he has endured we don't want to miss any chance to pamper him.
He’s a slow chewer, taking his time with every mouthful, favouring bananas and apples while turning away from papayas. As he settles into this new chapter, we’re learning his likes and dislikes, just as he’s learning to trust us.
His journey to healing has only just begun, nutritious food and critical medical aid is essential for his recovery. Please donate to support Manu’s care: wildlifesos.org/manu

From the skies, our pilots witness the magic of Kenya’s wildlife every day. November brought memorable sightings, including leopards, a critically endangered rhino and her calf, and a crocodile gliding through crystal clear waters,
But it’s definitely not all about the sights: our Aerial Unit is always on alert, tackling illegal activity, fighting fires, and supporting veterinary efforts. Every flight protects the landscapes and species that make Kenya so extraordinary.

Men Men was found abandoned in our local village and brought to #WFFT sanctuary. Please share and spread the word— wildlife are not pets! 🚫

Manu is ready for his new beginning!
As we waited to reach our destination, we were greeted by a curious sight—a playful trunk peeking out from the top of the ambulance! With their incredible sense of smell, elephants experience the world in a unique way. Perhaps Manu could sense the excitement in the air and reached out to take a sniff of his new home.
We can't keep calm. Stay tuned.

@WildlifeSOS 58 years of slavery, we will never know all his pain and suffering but his body tells the story. His new life starts now. TY WSOS. We know he is now in the best hands possible.
It's hard to see knowing so many begging elephants will be out again today, I pray for the day it ends

A new beginning for Manu. 💚
After decades of suffering, Manu has finally reached a place where he can breathe freely and heal- Wildlife SOS’s #ElephantHospitalCentre, a place where he will know only care, not cruelty. The trauma of his past will always linger, but with every day of love and healing, we hope to make it a distant memory.
Welcome home, Manu!
The best news of all? He’s with us for good!
