A retenir notamment : même si un cas contact devient positif, il n'y aura pas de nouveaux cas contacts à aller chercher vu qu'il est à l'isolement et qu'il avait été négatif auparavant.

@heelsmachine @nicolasberrod Ce n'est pas le cas. Une personne présymptomatique peut transmettre le hantavirus. Et dans les faits, comment distinguer entre asymptomatique et présymptomatique? On ne peut pas prédire qui va tomber malade et à quelle date.

Victim who flew to South Africa and died upon arrival was very sick, most likely source of spread if there is any. South Africa is trying but that’s the most challenging node.

Epuyén outbreak was NOT self-limited.
Even though it was in a remote rural tiny town, it kept spreading. After four turns of human-to-human transmission, including to people merely in the same room, the authorities imposed a strict quarantine for a whole month. Then it ended.
