Today, in two separate cases, I have directed the @NCAGhana to suspend and enforce a prohibition of broadcast on seven (7) radio stations in total. In one instance, on national security grounds and in six other cases on the grounds of broadcasting without a valid frequency authorisation based on the recently requested frequency audit. Enforcement of the directive is immediate. Further action would be taken in the coming days. Once again, I reiterate my commitment to sanitising our airwaves and ensuring strict adherence with the law concerning frequency authorisations. I urge all media houses to ensure they are complying with ALL the terms of their frequency authorisations. In service to God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭

The NDC appointees and government need to understand that not everyone that voted for the NDC belongs to the party or support the party. I am appalled at the despicable behaviour of @AfenyoMarkin towards Madam Gifty Jiagge Gobah - the Clerk to the Appointments Committee of @parliament_gh. This shameful behaviour is unbecoming of a Leader of the august House. I am absolutely certain he would not have dared to do this to a male Clerk of Parliament. Madam Gifty Gobah has been a staff of Parliament for 18 years and deserves the respect her office commands. Such misogynistic and narcissistic behaviour must be roundly condemned by all well meaning members of society and Parliament itself The Clerk of Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, must formally raise the issue with Rt. Hon @askbagbin, Speaker of Parliament. After the House has passed the Affirmative Action Law, we cannot condone and be complicit in such uncouth behaviour. Madam Gifty Jiagge Gobah, I and many more decent people stand with you. Be encouraged and stand strong with your head held high.
