We gave a written complaint and requested the police for a raid, and accompanied the media and the police to the spot. Not only were we met by a mob there (how did the news leak?), but the 1 bull rescued by the police on our insistence was also snatched back by the mob. Police then removed our volunteers — and sent the media team back midway. Later, this same one bull was quietly recovered — a token gesture. Now, the DCP claims “nothing exists” in a 1.5 km radius. Can the @BlrCityPolice not see the massive #camels being paraded through the streets? And bulls tied in open view? We gave intel. We went with police. The raid was leaked. A mob was ready. In our own country, we’re not allowed to enter these colonies — even with police escort. Is this law enforcement or surrender? #BakriEid
