Pretty poor crowds. Why wouldn’t you blow out tickets and fill the damn barns for round robin games at least. Greedy pricks would rather have it empty I guess. #WorldJuniors2026
I know it’s a yearly tweet. But gee whiz the little tiny things encased in cardboard with a foil seal and a tag around its neck. There must be a better way. And yes I’m planning on growing lentils next year on most of the canola stubble
We are looking for one super load of brown flax. Can’t be pre-harvested with glyphosate. Late June delivery once we are back to primary weights. Retweets appreciated.
Some beauty @FPGenetics AAC Marvelous flax from @heggie17 ! Then checking/changing nozzles on the sprayer. Few more steps closer to being ready for #plant25 and #spray25
Had a busy week to finish up our winter activities. It was a great year coaching the little tikes and watching them progress so much. I swear I had something in my eye after the hugs and high fives from the kids.
@kowalchukfarms1@rgstone1 The program we use for summer we use the young guys came to run the big equipment and as long as they are trusting and can operate things the way there supposed to I don’t mind. But they won’t touch a sprayer or drill, to much on the line in those machines.
@rgstone1@heggie17 I mainly truck in the fall so I need to work late if I want a bit of combine time. Spring may be all me again this year but I’m ok with that. We probably run the machines about the same amount of times Rob😁
I’m not gonna tell anyone else how to run their farm but if I don’t drive a tractor or sprayer in the spring and run a truck, cart or combine in the fall at the minimum I’m not sure why I’d even do this.
@rgstone1@kowalchukfarms1 Spraying tho. Love it, I could sit in that thing all summer. Love seeing the crops developed and grow, pick out spots that need improvement.
But this only works if you have the people behind you you can trust. Which we do.
