Cleetus McFarland uploaded his video recapping his NASCAR O'Reilly Series debut and first Top 5 in ARCA a few hours ago. It's a mix of video from the track, onboard footage and Cleetus' commentary on what he was experiencing. This snippet is about finishing the race on scuffs because he flatspotted the tires he was supposed to finish the race on with his spin. "My only goal in that moment was 'do not ruin the leader's race.' I had to just baby the thing around the track because anything I did, it was so loose. "This was probably one of the most intense moments I've ever had in my racing career on these last few laps just trying to stay out of the way. And I still got hit!"

Cale Conley finished 32nd at Darlington in 2014 driving the 33 for RCR followed by a 30th (Iowa). He was running at the end of those races. Why didn't the media hail those finishes as successes for Cale? Why didn't he receive as much media attention as the race winner?

Since he's already going to Kansas for ARCA, I think it would be highly beneficial for Cleetus to run the Kansas O'Reilly's race, it's prone to long green flag runs, which would give him the chance at a green flag stop, which he hasn't done yet Be better prepped Talladega too

Well, ol’ Cleetus didn’t tear up the car, and finished the race, which is good. However, today proved what anyone knowledgeable has said - he has no business being in this series. Also, contrary to popular belief, I don’t hate him at all. Just having fun w/ the triggered folks.

I’ve sent a few tweets about Cleetus today and I’m actually amazed at the hate mob. He just hopped in a tough racecar at a tough racetrack and didn’t junk it. 1 true incident today and didn’t hit anything. Clean racecar. That’s a win for him & his team. Mission accomplished.
