Great video. It acknowledges a simple truth: developers often get bored and want to work on something new. So much has been said about Bungie moving devs from Destiny to Marathon, but many tenured developers are probably *asking* to move.

@Revenant5333 Unfortunately, the old assets aren't compatible with their revised asset pipeline. They'd have to take quite a bit of time away from TFS to make that happen.

@Aztecross @YouTube FWIW, it's plausible that they are avoiding saying anything publicly about a delay because it is material to Sony's financial guidance. They may make it official during Sony's earnings call a week from today.

@Bendak5tar @PaulTassi @GernaderJake Schreier’s article stated that employees got at least three months severance. Tenured employees probably received more based on the number of years they’d been with the company.

@heimidal @PaulTassi @GernaderJake Oh absolutely, just stating that some people, at least the older longer term people got them, at least hopefully.

I feel like there wasn't *that* much backlash to current seasons and TFS reveal? Seasons have been okay (Witch is really good?) and the worst thing about TFS was probably no new subclass, but still Much bigger issues at play!

@JPriceRRT @PaulTassi I doubt the revenue from Destiny is material enough to need to wait for a guidance call, but you may be right. Whether they can announce it now or not would definitely be something dictated by Sony finance.

oh, well that was short - Final Shape will deliver, they say - No delay announced, no delay denied - 650 Bungie employees working on TFS and Episodes - Building a "bridge we plan to build to take us all out of this Darkness and into the Light." I am unclear if this is a metaphor

Genuinely excited to watch #Blizzcon this week. I wasn't so sure about #Diablo4 after the rocky first season, Season 2 really has its hooks in me.

Hey streamers, find somebody who actually knows the mechanics of how companies work to help you understand what the hell is going on. So much of what I've read this week has been wild mischaracterizations about basic business concepts and it's not helping the community.
