Piggyvest data showed less than 5% of 🇳🇬 adults earn N1 million monthly. This data shows a high deception rate in 🇳🇬 social media

@jonatanpallesen @nikitabier Funny enough, if Nigerian creators focused more on quality content and keeping their timelines authentic, being the most active users in Africa, they could earn 5x or more than what they currently make.. so stop that pity talks

"It will proceed to be a monoculture with a handful of countries rationally spamming the replies of those posts to get $30/week." It doesn't sound like my country, Denmark, is the problem here. It sounds maybe more like it's important to not give such large payouts to countries like India and Nigeria based on revenue generated in the first world.

Content that @nikitabier doesn't like: Europeans from small countries posting about science or global trends, or making original content. Content @nikitabier loves: An American posting a screenshot from instagram of a hot girl.

For a random person signing up in France: Their very first timeline will likely include Trump ragebait and Silicon Valley chatter. We can’t continue to incentivize the same kind of posts forever—and not try to expand our inventory. The network will never grow. It will proceed to be a monoculture with a handful of countries rationally spamming the replies of those posts to get $30/week.

@HannahDCox You're right,. they're just fronting 'Nigeria' because of Nikita’s obvious Ivanka-Nigeria page comment. They know it will cut across

These foreign accounts are like super pressed they might now make money off American politics anymore. Which begs a few questions: 1. How much are they even getting off this platform and why? 2. Why don't they want to talk about their own country's politics?
