Calling it "advice" doesn't make it neutral. You're explicitly telling artists to shut up if they don't want harsh or irrelevant feedback. That's the exact "you should accept it" stance you just denied saying.
I wasn't even addressing Levy's statement, I was responding to the nuance in @ShitpostRock2 's quote tweet.
Whether artists want feedback might be irrelevant to you, but it's the entire point for many artists. I'm not demanding the world stay silent, I'm saying the world doesn't get to dictate that we *must* engage or internalize every insult just because we shared something. Luxury or not, creators still set their own boundaries.
Dismissing that as "irrelevant" is just gatekeeping with extra steps.

@helbeglin @ShitpostRock2 >has to
No one said that.
>should
No one said that.
There's no need to ask if I said something I didn't say.
You may wish to revisit previous conversations with other people.
There may be a habitual reliance on strawmanning someone else's position to get your point across.

Games are art and art can be criticized, that is literally how it fucking works

Arthouse Shawn Levy@firagawalkwthme
It’s legitimately funny how much gamers hate art but also want games to be art
English

If you think everything HAS to be or SHOULD be criticized, or artists/devs SHOULD accept any/all criticism or insults...
You're the problem.
The author put their work out to share it with the world. They don't have to accept any feedback at all.
They can choose not to release, but that's not your call to tell them not to if they don't want criticism. If there's a better way to do something, then sure, you can tell them - that doesn't mean they have to take it. Art and games aren't a public service, they're a luxury. If you don't like something, you can leave feedback and move on.
English

@helbeglin @ShitpostRock2 Irrelevant. If you put something out into the world, the world gets to call your shit retarded.
If you find the criticism unnecessary, that's your problem, don't share it to the world, then.

The last part would be most useful for you, then. It introduces a heirarchal type of thinking that keeps things relatively small/digestible. Think about it like this: What general area of the model are you looking for? Does it have any sub-parts? Which side is it on? What are you trying to change? -> This turns into (BodyPart)_(Sub-part)_(Side)_(Type)_(Number).
You can also collapse folders you're finished with (for now) while you work if the vast amount of folders overwhelms you - I know it did me when I was doing 2D model art.

@helbeglin these are all very useful tips for organizing the layer names n groups but im moreso struggling with the mental aspect of it ;-;
for me even if they're all named and grouped via folders, it's just fickle for my brain to fall apart when im staring at too many things at once :((

Can I have both? I'll press both. I usually grab every cart on my way across the parking lot, choose one to use while shopping, and return the rest.
As for the confusion from most in the replies: the blue button from other trends IS the "I believe I am morally superior"/selfish option, because it's collectivist virtue signaling while ignoring their own desire to be brought out of a rut when they put themselves in it. Like committing a crime and calling your momma to bail you out. Red is the rational choice that shows self preservation/governance (put your oxygen mask on first before helping others - and don't step under a crusher if you have to rely on others to stop it). In this scenario, the shopping cart test shows self governance (red) versus laziness while claiming someone gets a job out of it (blue). My brother in christ, you created the problem by leaving the cart, of course someone else is gonna get paid to put it away.

I'd love to try this game, but please, get rid of Dragonbaby - hire Active Gaming Media (AGM) or someone else instead for straight translation, otherwise this game won't hit well for your English players at all. Dragonbaby has a history of injecting divisive/controversial politics as "creative writing". AGM might even be cheaper for you if price is an issue.

@tatami_loop I see, so the reality was as I thought. Thank you! I'll consider this with future sketches!

If it's designed safely, the magnet charger will not work, and the charging cord will take priority. If it's not designed safely, it will overheat and possibly catch on fire. I had a similar situation where I wanted to plug two charging inputs to my portable battery, so I looked it up, and I quickly learned of the risks. If possible, please stick to a single charger - if you need to charge faster, there are separate charging blocks you can buy for your cord.

@FarisShura He *was* a human being, turned into a cursed object.
So, are you going to join the debate on whether his biology changes with the extra parts, or are you just here to pick at semantics?
English

@helbeglin @t_likespiano Sukuna isn’t a “demon curse”, he’s a human being.

When I was a kid, I often asked for homework in math class because I loved to solve equations. Even in elementary school. So much so, that I went above and beyond with the multiplication tables, where only 12 was required, and I doubled it to a table of 24. But I also had nothing to do after school other than play video games because I had no friends or extracurricular activities.
It's a shame we don't have more kids who are as eager to learn practical skills anymore here in the US.
