@Sandy0xford Thanks! I just used Natural Earth country polygons. For a map of this scale + generalisation - which in reality most people will look at on their phones - more precision isn't going to change the output massively 🤓🤓

@helenmakesmaps Great looking map 👍🏼 How did you define the coastline? - tidal limits wouldn’t work well as many large rivers are tidal well inland.

To create a custom world map projection: Settings > Custom Projections > add "+proj=ortho +lat_0=-0.53420247 +lon_0=-91.056061 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +a=6371000 +b=6371000 +units=m +no_defs" to Parameters and alter the lat/lon to centre your globe wherever you'd like!
