@BabyBawoo I grew up obsessed with legos and transformers and I have zero interest or like for any mecha anime. I just do not care for them. Nothing about the fantasy of piloting a giant robot nor the themes of most mecha anime has an appeal to me.

I dont like mecha because it represents the parts of anime I find boring
Code Geass is my favorite anime OAT and while the mechs are cool theyre the part I dont really care about more than just looking cool
like all shonen anime the cool looking fights are the parts with the least substance, I dont care about the mechs I care about the people inside them, especially when in mecha anime the pilots themselves are almost ALWAYS "special" in some alternative way letting them pilot more powerful more impressive mechs because of innate gifts over developed skill usually trumping OVER seasoned pilots who have been using the machines for years upon years but cant match the protagonists protagonist power
same reason I dont gaf about racing video games

Today in RPG history... Capcom released Breath of Fire IV for PS1 in JP on Apr 27, 2000. For many, this was the last great BoF but the legacy of this series won't be forgotten. Stylistically confident, animated and full of personality, mint OST, and we gotta mention the fishing!
