@hikarihikaru_ Excellent question!! To summarise within a tweet, I talked about cultural governance and how vkei is an unintentional subversion of Japan’s nation brand. I surveyed about 150 international vkei fans and analysed how their consumption of vkei alters their view of Japan :)
