Funnily enough, if I've asked someone for something, and they've said no, my natural reaction isn't to then send them an angry/sh*tty response. Accreditation can be a really miserable job. Imagine if I tried that on feature/review editors!

Alexisonfire, 2000trees Festival REVIEW: Every Alexisonfire show these days feels like an event. Something to be savoured. Something to come together for, to share in as one. It’s a sentiment that feels very much the same within the ranks of the band, that if they are going to do this, then they are going to put their absolute all into it. And from the moment they race out onto the main stage, ready to close out 2000trees for another year, with a cutting run-through of ‘Accidents’, it is put into practice. Because this is utter mayhem. From the stunning grit of ‘Boiled Frogs’ to the ethereal shimmers of ‘Sweet Dreams Of Otherness’, every member puts their body on the line for the cause. Whether it’s bassist Chris Steele stalking back and forth like a tiger playing with its prey, never once missing a beat, or Wade MacNeil, chainmail draped over head, delivering chainsaw howls whilst demanding even more movement from the congregation before him, matched by George Petit bending mic stands as he goes, no ounce of energy is left unused. After all, it is hard to keep still when the rallying punk of ‘Dog’s Blood’ sounds as gigantic as it does, or the singalongs that accompany ‘We Are The Sound’ and ‘This Could Be Anywhere In The World’ are so loud the hairs on the back of your neck have no choice but to stand. It’s the perfect storm of a band having the most fun they’ve ever had together and a crowd that holds these songs in such high acclaim, creating the brand of atmosphere that reminds you why you fell in love with this scene in the first place. As Dallas Green brings it home in stunning style on a rousing ‘Young Cardinals’ and ‘Happiness By The Kilowatt’ pushes the devastation to a whole other level, one of the great 2000trees headline sets comes to a close. They want a year’s council tax from us in a lump sum up front too. And then apparently I can apply for a refund when it is sold(!)

Absolutely appalled by @huntsdc demanding that I pay an entire years worth of council tax in one payment. Nobody will talk to me on the phone, just persistent letters demanding £1700 upfront. Dog shit service. Sort it out.
