repost!! i am currently tryna get comfy in a hospital bed, had my double mastectomy this morning. i have radiation coming up next!! anything helps

@SherriKostante i’ve seen lots of people doing it in the facebook groups i’m in, but the results weren’t really compelling enough for me to consider it. of course i’ll do chemo if i have do but i am gonna complain the whole time lol like please let the tamoxifen hot flashes be enough

@helllmouth My hairdresser has a client who did the cold capping & lost almost no hair. I don't know anyone personally who has done it.

@SherriKostante i know this is dumb but my hair is so long and i’ve spent so much time growing it out i just am so afraid of doing chemo and losing it !!! i’m short and fat i’ll look like danny devito in batman hahaha or uncle fester !

@helllmouth Thankfully I didn't need chemo. I didn't have much trouble with radiation, just some skin irritation.

@lestatification yes like i totally understand and that should be in place! but it just fuckin sucks for respectful people

@helllmouth a lot of my local historical cemeteries have been locked up as well due to vandalism/neglect, it makes me so sad 😞

my old boss has a Fisk infant coffin in his office and it’s the coolest fucking thing I’ve ever seen in someone’s office before

@SherriKostante i did have a cancerous node they removed :( so it looks like radiation is on the table but hopefully no chemo!!!

@lestatification i wish you could go to saint louis number 1 without a tour guide. it used to be lovely to just walk around and read but the diocese closed it off to the public except for tour groups :(

@lestatification i’ve lived in tennessee, alabama, south carolina, louisiana and east texas lol. family is from louisiana and georgia. also whenever we travel we allllways go cemetery walking!!
