Many traders think discipline is about doing the right thing. Often it's about refusing to do the wrong thing.

A trader becomes dangerous when discipline remains intact regardless of recent results.

The longer you trade, the less you fear losses and the more you fear losing discipline.

There is a big difference between trusting your edge and expecting it to win every trade.

A trading journal is not a record of your trades. It's a record of your decision-making.

Hopeful as an attitude, not a strategy. In trading, hope becomes dangerous when it replaces decision-making. Moving your stop loss because you hope price comes back. Taking random trades because you hope to recover losses. But hope as an attitude is different. It's believing you'll eventually become profitable. Continuing to improve after setbacks. Remaining optimistic during difficult periods. Hope is useful in trading. Just not where most traders place it. Never use hope to manage a trade. Use it to sustain the journey.

@helloitsluap If price mitigates HTF poi the recent LTF valid pullback becomes a change of character, if price makes a valid pullback b4 change of character, is the order flow of LTF mitigated already

Most traders eventually discover that their biggest obstacle wasn't the market. It was their inability to consistently do what they already knew was right.

Trading becomes simpler when you stop asking, "What do I think will happen?" and start asking, "What does my system require me to do?"

The market doesn't ask whether you deserve success. It asks whether your behavior deserves it.

Many traders think confidence comes from winning. Real confidence comes from knowing you'll follow your process whether you win or lose.
