@ivandjrueda @karpathy thanks Ivan, and it does! you can connect it to any LLM, and we make it easy to connect to Ollama or LM Studio for local LLMs.

@hellokillian @karpathy This is pretty cool! Does it work with local models as well?
English

@hellokillian @karpathy oh nice, the translucent UI on a local agent workspace is a vibe.
English

thanks tony! @vicdotso and I have been working on the foundation for a while, only began tinkering with karpathy's llm knowledge-base workflows in the past week or so.
and as long as the agents follow the workflow and /ingest into the markdown wiki correctly, you don't need to persist context between agents— the filesystem is the context which they can selectively read and manipulate.

@hellokillian @karpathy Hi @hellokillian! Great Work with Open Interpreter.
Did you already have pieces of this built, or was this stitched together in one sprint?
Also wondering how you’re handling continuous ingest/update without restarting context

能直接打开 office 文档来修改,好玩,实用。
界面也足够简洁明了,好看。
是最近用的这么多里最舒服的一款。

Inspired by @karpathy :) A local markdown editor + terminal agent workspace.

@AshokTak10 @karpathy ❤️ this is exactly what we were going for :) thanks ashok!

@hellokillian @karpathy It's very cool. It's like cursor but for knowledge management. UI is so appealing!
English

@gmccreight @karpathy thanks Gordan! and VERY cool direction on meadow notes. I can see the future of article publishing looking like a public view of personal wikis / second brains, intermediate tools appearing redundant in retrospect.
good luck with the launch!

This looks really great, Killian.
I've been focusing on the downstream publishing problem under the assumption that smart folks like yourself will figure out how to develop "dark insight factories".
Check out the publishing stuff at meadow-notes.com . It basically lets you extract and publish subgraphs of your overall markdown graph as micro-sites. It has many-site support, really fancy node selection tooling, and super careful change management, since the source graph nodes and content change after your first publish... and these little sites aren't exactly like blog posts... some times you want to keep improving and re-publishing them.
This week I'm going to open-source the core and also let people publish up to three sites for free with no account, because I want them to be able to see just how cool it is. Because I think it's _very_ cool! ;)
It's so exciting to be working in such a dynamic, experimental, space right now. Your tool looks totally awesome. Good luck with it! I'll list it as an upstream markdown tool on my website along with Obsidian, Bear, and other new entrants like Clearly.

@hellokillian @karpathy I just checked out the update, great work and props for moving so quickly.
also the UI update looks amazing
English

@hellokillian @karpathy extremely buggy and freezes, when i open the app there's another terminal app icon on the dock
English

@hellokillian @karpathy That’s awesome! Great work !

@pau_nrda i love that idea! another point for filesystem-agents— one can re-use file sharing infrastructure for agent collaboration.
git is one obvious mechanism for this, but I've recently experimented with dropbox. you and someone else can collab on md files in real time!
English

I’ve had the idea of smth like this in my mind for some time. And make it sharable, people should share knowledge between friends and colleagues.
It’s company culture for ai agents!!
