Today I'm launching Interpreter. It's a desktop agent that can fill PDFs, edit your Excel and Word docs, and learn new skills. Runs offline, works with any model, and it's free.

We implemented Kimi K3's native harness in Rust. Now, @OpenInterpreter is the #1 trending Rust repo in the world. Apache licensed, ACP + Codex SDK compatible — a CLI for the next generation of open models.

Pretty cool to see a popular fork of Codex OSS repo with 60k stars out there with my team being top contributors (due to preserving history with the fork) Keep building github.com/openinterprete…

Hey Santosh, it's basically Codex but focused on open models like GLM and Deepseek. The Codex terminal interface is wonderful, but under the hood its optimized for GPT. So the difference is what the model sees -- tools / prompts / caching are optimized so open models work extremely well: openinterpreter.com/blog/open-inte…

@ScourgeOfZeus @aympontier Aren't these problems for all robots though? Sand in actuators, mud in the eyes. It seems like by restricting each actuator to one degree of motion, you could probably get a nice seal. Put the cameras on the body.. This seems like a smart cheap bot, considering it can do so much

@hellokillian @aympontier You are trying to solve the wrong problem. The problem is the idea is stupid, not just how they did it. See below x.com/ScourgeOfZeus/…

@Christo60654252 @aympontier Or gets desert electrostatic sand in all those joints and actuators. It is one of those ideas that a mid-level engineer dreamed up without anyone familiar with actual production product design experience vetting or defining spec for it.

@ScourgeOfZeus @aympontier Couldn't we just inset the cameras a bit? Put them on the legs or on the central body, so they don't make contact with the world? Could also have rotating transparent discs in front of the cameras, in case one gets dirty it just spins to a clean one. Maybe vibration cleans it?

@hellokillian @aympontier Sure, let it drag a water tank behind it. While you are at it, add a diesel generator in case it runs out of battery and a hydraulic system for actuator redundancy.

High school guys built a robot in their garage. They posted the highest autonomous scores in the world this season. Check them out: Team Exodus #30030 on YouTube. Someone should highlight these students—they represent what Texas youth can do with passion and ingenuity. The FTC First Place American team, Exodus (#30030), received 3 days of unexcused absences at Vandegrift High School for attending the 3-day world tournament. In contrast, their alliance partner—the Romanian team Velocity (#21087)—received significant national recognition: they met with the president, with officials, earned major awards, (100,000 euros) and generated widespread media coverage back home, and even had a police escort from the airport. Team Exodus, a rookie community team from Austin, Texas (students from Vandegrift and Westwood), placed 1st in the world as alliance captains at the 2026 FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) DECODE World Championship in Houston. They beat out competition from thousands of teams worldwide—a rookie team. Despite this historic accomplishment: No yearbook photo. No school announcement or mention. Invisible. I don't have a reach or a following. Please, someone with power, get this message out so they are not invisible. Does anyone know the real Elon?

@hellokillian I mean the bot development in general. The system is so corrupt and abusive, I'm not sure that the incentives are not to use those to collect taxes or enforce policies like lockdowns for example. Maybe not that model, but still...
