Had an amazing day out with friends today. We went to the zoo and also took a river cruise! But we also went to see my oncologist today - together. I've already had a chance to talk to my family and want to share here as well. You already know I have been fighting cancer, and today we learned that it has spread throughout my abdomen and it's essentially incurable. I will start an aggressive chemo regimen in a couple of weeks - one of the toughest combos. At the same time, we have to wait to find out if my mutation is compatible with immunotherapy. If it is, I will get both at the same time. The expectation is that maybe it's possible to give me a couple more years, maybe a little more if immunotherapy works. But, eventually, my body won't be able to handle the treatments or keep the cancer away. So, I will do my best to fight as long as I can and make the most of whatever time I have left, but I also have to face the seriousness of my condition. So, my feed will probably change a bit to show more of how I chose to fill my life with meaningful experiences and of course all the mischief I plan to get into. 😈 For now, here's a look at today's adventures. 😁
