This has made our work more difficult but even more important over the years. Young people are a force. However, we need the capacity to ensure they can give back and feel supported at the same time.

Volunteering (and donations) fell by 12 points from 75% in 2018 to 63% in 2022 - @torontofdn We have seen this. Many organizations we assist are desperate for volunteers as their resources are stretched thin. Some don't even have the capacity for volunteer management #PowerOfUs

Now @petebombaci from the @GenWellProject talking about the impact of young people on loneliness and the long-term impacts. Sense of belonging is one of the impacts that @helpinghands strives for. #PowerOfUs Here are some impacts in the long term regardless of age.
