Picture the scene: Celtic fans have just invaded the pitch. Hearts players have been taken into the tunnel for their own saferty. The referee is asked by his boss, "Did you blow the final whistle?" The ref replies, "No." His boss immediately tells him, "Yes, you did." Crazy, eh?

The groundswell of support for @JamTarts is growing rapidly. I was told in Glasgow and now in @UKHouseofLords many people outraged by events at Celtic Park on Saturday & increasingly on line including Gary Lineker & many other informed commentators. Some action must follow.

@helpmyphysics @theweeflea Your last second Hail Mary penalty at Firpark was the single worst decision I’ve seen in a lifetime of watching football. Both Hearts penalty claims at Firpark last Saturday were more valid, the stamping one going to VAR. There’s no other word for it but cheating.

Woke up on Sunday morning to see that my prediction (Celtic will get a penalty, a dodgy goal and end of game chaos) was 100% correct. The second goal was offside - the player who was offside eventually scored...how is that not interfering with play? But then its Celtic rules and Celtic time....the Old Firm have corrupted Scottish football....

@theweeflea Hearts cheated themselves David. I was at the match. They fell down about 8 times in the match to waste time. As I have said before if they would've played the football they would've won because they are a good side. In the end there was no cheating. Celtic champions again!

@helpmyphysics I regard associating any football club with a denomination as absurd and almost blasphemous. I have no interest in whether Celtic are Catholic or not. I do object to corruption in football.....Hearts were cheated....

@helpmyphysics Sadly I do know the rules as I had to referee junior football some times - and I played. A player is offside if he is interfering with play...given that he scored a goal as a result of the pass - I suspect he was interfering. !

The scenes at Celtic Park were despicable. Given that the full time whistle hadn’t even been called, and the match effectively abandoned, Celtic should be stripped of this win, and the match replayed behind closed doors, at the very least.

First time in the history of Scottish football that a game has been concluded early at Celtic Park. We’ve gone from “injury time until Celtic score” to “injury time until Celtic invade the pitch”. SPFL playing a blinder again. 😂

Those tactics blew Hearts chance of the league and speaking as a Celtic fan your team could've played the good football you've played all season

@GeorgeFoulkes @JamboAldo Nothing will change George. Hearts have suffered what Rangers and other teams have been complaining about for years. Look at the stats. Look at how much extra time is awarded, how many penalties, how many red cards in the last 100 home games. SFA is beyond fixing

Imagine if Hearts had secured the title today what the presentation of medals would have been like in front of 65,000 Celtic fans. It adds to concern about the way the SPFL set up this final fixture reinforcing the need for a review of wider aspects of Scottish football
