@LabBryant I think they must scan manuscripts for the corresponding author’s email address. My inbox is inundated and I suspect I’ve published a bit less than you... !!

It’s irritating to get several daily emails from journals asking for follow up manuscripts, or from conferences asking for oral presentations of already published papers - where do journals/organisers get the email addresses from!! How can the research community stop this?
