@moonneett @GinaKump @taylorswift13 Fetus is just "small child" in Latin, why do you prefer to use Latin? Why don't you just call it small child in plain English?
English

@GinaKump @taylorswift13 so if you had to choose between a fetus and an ACTUAL girl fighting for her rights, you’d pick the unborn fetus?
English

I’m absolutely terrified that this is where we are - that after so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their own bodies, today’s decision has stripped us of that.

My thoughts on the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

@DavidMc92907714 @mjcmt @GavinNewsom The baby inside it's another body, not your body, not your choice.
English

@mjcmt @GavinNewsom But it’s okay to kill innocent children then without consequences??? Let’s be honest you can kill as many children as you want by guns without any consequences but you can’t make a personal choice on your own body. It’s draconian and radical pal

@SecretaryPete What's the meaning of Pride? The losing of moral values? Of family as such? Pride of a perverted parade? It shouldn't be Pride month but Sad month.
English

@HisLifeNMe @jmcnaughtonjc @HwsEleutheroi Do you really think that God wants you to obey the government blindly? So if the government wants to kill the babies ( abortion) or wants to esnlave people (Germany and the jews) and tells you to come and help, do you really go and kill babies and eslave people? would you resist?
English

@jmcnaughtonjc @HwsEleutheroi If you say you are a follower of Christ, then Bible says you'll have His mind.
Do you know what His mind is?

@JoelOsteen I mean, you can speak and prophesy about your future all you want, but for all we know we can be dead in the next 5 seconds....

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 I think the problem is that maybe you don't understand what JW means by "sinful emotional response". This is for example the emotional response of the offended pharisees, you don't emphatize with it, you rebuke it, just like Jesus did to them.
English

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 If Jesus felt emphaty for any sinful emotional response he would've sinned, but obviously he didn't.
English

@henry1154 @DrOakley1689 So if he felt empathy, the according to JW, Jesus was in sin.
English

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 That's the point of: don't surrender your mind to the sinful emotional responses of others.
Sinful emotional responses are the key words. The pharisees had these sinful responses, Jesus didn't surrender his mind to these responses.
English

@henry1154 @DrOakley1689 Also, Jesus always showed great compassion on those in sin - told them to go and sin no more, but did it in a kind, gentle, loving way. His harshest words were for the religious leaders of the day.
English

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 That were only offended by his words and were hurt and suffering like the pharisees. You don't emphasize with someone suffering because he lost his cocaine and can't deliver it, the same way you don't empathize with a suffering pedophile because he can't have sex with a child....
English

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 Remember, Paul didn't care about hurting the feelings of the homosexuals, he called them out, just like he did with any other sinful desire.
English

@henry1154 @DrOakley1689 He references sinful emotional responses of others. But homosexuality doesn't fall into that category.
English

@Meg_Ell_P @DrOakley1689 Why not? That's a perfect example. Society right now is portraing gay people as a suffering community and we should EMPATHIZE with them and not called them wrong because that hurts their feelings.
English

@iamhecka @kintsugi_adonai @JennLynnTheFair @Wtgalk @DrOakley1689 Neither Jesus nor Paul felt empathy in those cases because the people's feelings were sinful. The same happens today with homosexuality. Christian's don't empathize with homosexuals, we tell them they are wrong, just like Paul did in his letters.
English

@iamhecka @kintsugi_adonai @JennLynnTheFair @Wtgalk @DrOakley1689 What James White is talking about is that it's sinful to empathize with the sinful desires of others. For example, Jesus didn't feel empathy when he was turning the tables at the temple. The apostle Paul didn't feel it either for the Ephesians that were trying to sell the idols.

English

@DrOakley1689 Are you willing to explain and define the line between what is sinful emotional response and what is appropriate emotional response? And how do we define these when we can’t see the heart of others? How do we determine who is deserving of empathy and who is not?
