في أحد الشعانين، عيد الرجاء والسلام، نتشبّث أكثر بإيماننا بأنّ النور أقوى من الظلام، وأنّ لبنان سيقوم من جديد رغم كل الألم. وفي هذه المناسبة، نتوجّه بقلوبنا إلى أهلنا في الجنوب، إلى العائلات التي حُرمت هذا العام من الاجتماع حول مائدة واحدة، ومن عيش فرحة العيد كما اعتادت كل سنة. نصلّي أن تعود هذه الأيام محمّلة بالسلام، وأن يجتمع كل بيت من جديد، وأن تبقى العائلة مصدر قوّتنا وصمودنا. شعانين مبارك، على أمل أن يحمل معه بداية خلاص لوطننا.

@QuetzalQuantal The cars' queue in the video is like the traffic you find in any random small neighborhood in Baghdad. Transportation pooling doesn't exist. The only difference is that the queue in the video has a higher chance of moving per hour than civil cars in the capital.

Did they consider renting buses instead?? That’s a lot of CO2 emissions for no good reason. They all could have fit in one bus and saved the planet while making sure no penguin is left without a roof above its head.
