I absolutely love seeing the way people do their hair, whether it’s natural or in a wig. I love all the styles and appreciate how creative we can be. I think the best thing about being a black woman is the versatility. We can wear any and everything and make it look phenomenal.

Respectfully, I don’t think is anyone’s business to dictate what cuts it or not. I think it’s okay for many black women specifically dark skin women to bow out of said conversation. I believe some of yall are performative and I don’t need to challenge shit, I can just✨exist✨🤷🏾♀️

I think we should be able to exist in whatever form for however long we want, no? Don’t get me wrong, I think everyone’s correct in how they feel I just think the tone towards black women is always so harsh.

How black women show up for themselves in order to exist isn’t for anyone to police. There needs to be a lot more grace given especially since how we may feel about our hair isn’t our fault…talking DOWN on black women and how they choose to keep their hair is counter productive.

This conversation around black women & their natural hair is a bit tired. Especially in regards to darker skin women. We “hate” our hair but growing up we were made to feel ugly about our hair, skin & facial features. There’s just so much to unpack.. can we just exist? Fk.

Unpopular opinion - but I hate sex scenes in movies/shows….and I HATE it even more when it’s in the first 10-20 minutes of a scene. I hate how long it goes on for as well. Back in the day they used to allude to it happening but now we get straight porn.
