In 1960's King Features Syndicate TV series "Popeye the sailor" Introduced a character named " Brutus "
King Features Syndicate Thought Paramount owned Bluto in Popeye shorts, but the character debuted in 1932.
To avoid any confusion, they kept Brutus for the whole series.
