@herbluefire I’m being a little unfair maybe. I just don’t find him particularly that interesting but I can recognise that he has a LOT of depth as an independent character. his story is detailed (far more than others in some cases) and I don’t actively dislike him. I just don’t see the hype

do you people know that by statistics most victims of abuse/rape are abused by people from their family? we need harsher laws against abusers & rapists. we need to let go of rape culture that doesn’t allow girls to be open about their abuse because they will get shamed for it

If you can eradicate rape, abuse and betrayal without hijab and segregation, then sure, you might have something to stand on. But rape, abuse and betrayal is rampant in the West. In America, 1 in 5 women have been raped, or dealt with attempted rape during their life time. Almost 50% of women have been molested (groping etc..) during their lifetime. Almost 100% have committed adultery and betrayal. So, on what grounds do they oppose hijab and segregation? You can disagree with this solution, that is fine, but to be aggressively anti-hijab and segregation, while not providing a proven alternative solution, you are basically seeking an environment that allows such abuse to take place.
