before i finish my move to college tonight, i wanted to thank some important people that made an impact on my career beginnings. firstly, i have to thank green football head coach @CoachGeis for allowing me to find my footing on friday nights. there is nothing more valuable to me than maintaining legitimacy, and coach geis took me seriously from the get-go. even as someone who hadn’t touched the writers room, he gave me the professional answers (and occasional advice) that benefited me the most. secondly, i have to thank michelle @herdlick for graciously allowing my non profit publication to use her beautiful photos free of charge. not only did she paint my stories, but she became one of my closest working partners and friends. thank you, michelle, for taking me in. another thanks to her for never defecting from GHS athletics, it wouldn’t be the same without you. thirdly, a huge thanks to @mpopovichREP who has not just become my broadcasting partner—but actually a brother to me over these past two years. mike deserves the world for the decades upon decades he’s contributed to stark county. this is his home, and he has made it everyone else’s home with his pages in the repository. he has given me more opportunities than my high school could ever give me. i could write a small novel about mike and i’s brotherhood, but ill spare the public from having to see mike cry. love you brother. as for my future in the business, i am not going anywhere. however, my endeavors covering specifically green football are over. @TheLetterNet is now my main focus. stark county area high school sports will not lose coverage from mike and i. in fact, we have a few projects that we’re actively working on executing right now before the season begins! this includes a @FederalLeagueOH focused, interactive breakdown radio show with players, coaches, athletic directors, and ball knowers that will stream live on The Letter Media Network youtube channel every Tuesday. a longer press release about it will come out soon. that’s all for now. - aiden brueck

Have you ever had to work with a part time employee who is unethical and unprofessional, but because management buys into their BS, nothing can be said or done.

People don’t care unless it effects them. Period. But when it does, you better be empathetic and helpful, no matter how much they didn’t care for you. I am tired of beating my head against the wall when told,”If you see something, tell someone.” and nothing gets done.
