30 years ago on October 28, 1993, four NYC-based artists: Randy Rollison, Barbara Busackino, Tim Maner, and Kristin Marting (AKA Tiny Mythic Theatre Company & Home for Contemporary Theatre) staked their claim at the space at 145 6th Avenue - and founded HERE!

Longtime HERE artist/curator and a MacArthur “Genius” grant recipient Basil Twist thrilled the world with his Symphonie Fantastique when premiered at HERE in April of 1998. The work is available on HERE’s digital platform URHERE (urhere.art/archive/symphf…)
