Watched Project Hail Mary for the third time and damn, my eyes were teary (again)

Omg omg omg

eye candy — a #lukerosa socmed au rosa swears that luke pearce, the guy she met at one of marius' events, is just eye candy. he's attractive, charming, and rides a motorcycle—everything rosa needs in her life right now. just look, no touch. she swears. she's a terrible liar.

Maybe to the cats, their lifespans are long enough (15-20 years) but I think, “what a short lifespan to share our lives together” and it makes me think is this what Frieren feels when she sees other humans This whole thought process makes me appreciate the story more

I remember when my cats were just kittens and I’ve always been around them and I didn’t realise they’re all grown up until I look at their old photos. That’s when I have the “omg, they’ve become big cats now” thoughts in me

Watching Frieren makes me think there is a parallel between her-fern-stark and me and my cats. As in, I’m frieren with longer lifespan than my cats and realising that the way I perceive time is different than my cats evokes a sense of bittersweetness
