and i'm back!! Wrapped a really successful business trip. Got to represent the Philippines and share our culture and honestly I came home so full 🇵🇭 Now let me catch up with AHOFville, because apparently I missed a LOT 😩 let me start with the recent one (which to be honest I don't even know where it started) but let me say this... I'm proud to be Filipino, and that pride goes into everything, including WHO I SUPPORT. which means, JL will always be a priority for me. I will always support our own. that's not changing today, tomorrow, or ever.

I’ve read Billboard PH’s AHOF feature, and here’s my take on why 🌟 deserves more than a single 'sincerity' quote. The article is beautifully written and effectively frames AHOF as a group driven by authenticity. However, if you read closely, there is a noticeable imbalance in how that authenticity is distributed among the members. 🌟 is positioned as the voice of sincerity within the group, yet that idea is never expanded into his artistry, creative process, or personal growth. He is given one quote and one defining concept, but no depth. Meanwhile, other members are provided with fuller narratives, including their creative reflections, studio experiences, and perspectives on their music. 🌟, on the other hand, is reduced to an emotional keyword rather than being explored as a complete artist. That matters because the article itself emphasizes themes of realness, identity, and growth. If that is the foundation, then every member should be given the same level of nuance and attention, rather than being assigned symbolic roles. It becomes even more significant when 🌟 is described as the "homegrown Filipino member." Representation should go beyond simply stating where he is from. It should highlight what he contributes. In a feature that explores the artistic depth of others, his perspective feels underdeveloped. 🌟 is not just the Filipino member who represents sincerity. He is part of a global K-pop structure where representation should mean visibility in craft, not just emotional framing. How ironic. An article centered on authenticity as a strength ends up flattening one of its most globally significant members into a label instead of presenting him as a fully realized artistic voice. His presence could have strengthened the group’s global narrative even further. A Filipino idol speaking about creative input, perspective, and identity would have added real substance to the idea of being a bridge between cultures. Instead, the piece leans into a safer approach. It celebrates diversity in theory but does not fully carry it through in how each member’s story is told, leaving 🌟 underwritten in a feature about authenticity. Oh and before you come at me, this is not about hate ah. It is about consistency. It is not about asking for special treatment either. It is about equal storytelling. If AHOF’s strength lies in their individuality, then every member, including 🌟, deserves to be written with the same depth, detail, and respect. Because authenticity should be shown, not selectively told.

It’s been 5 days since that night of disappointment. I was actually starting to feel excited again—akala ko ready na akong mag-book ng ticket for their concert—but then here comes another disappointment. Paisa lang ha—JL is the only Filipino and the only representation you’re highlighting in your headline. Sana man lang pinanindigan niyo yung “Filipino pride,” diba? Pero sa lahat ng pictures na ‘to, bakit puro siya nasa gilid—even for a Filipino brand na isa siya mismo sa nag-eendorse? The fuck, @fnfent_official? Hindi pa ba tapos pagka racist niyo? And to those other JL fans na nagsasabing OA na yung JL stans—huwag kayong umiyak kapag sa comeback, puro humming bird lang maririnig niyo kay JL! Ayan na yung preview ng positions nila kaya lower your expectations! Ang pa-plastic niyo!
