Highlights from the #EuropeanCulturalHeritage Summit 2024 in Bucharest☄️ Organised by @europanostra with support from the @EU_Commission, the summit brought together 800 professionals, policymakers, and organisations to tackle key challenges for Europe's cultural heritage, including responsible digital and ecological transitions. What do we mean by cultural #heritage? 🌈 In #HeritACT heritage is seen as a sort of ‘catalyst of everydayness’ for people, a ‘unifying hub’ that creates value for community life, and that recruits different forms of knowledge from the arts, the humanities and the new digital technologies. The children had the chance to explore Eleusis digitally, interact, and (re)create structures based on city landmarks and monuments of industrial heritage. In the HERIcraft environment, they engaged in mini-games, learning about the values of the New European Bauhaus while interacting with classmates, seamlessly blending play with learning! 🎮🤝
