With all humility in truth, I entreat Ghana not to miss Sports Panorama tomorrow at 7 pm on Citi Fm. The truth behind the BS selection shall be revealed. The dishonesty, corruption, and selfishness will all be dealt with. God will save Ghana from these people. Time is coming.

If Roy Keane wants to go down this road, then fine. Let’s go there. I will take it to hell. This is the same Roy Keane who, in 2019, openly said he still wasn’t interested in reconciling with Sir Alex Ferguson unless Ferguson apologised for how his United career ended. The same Ferguson who backed him for years. Defended him. Even bailed him out after Keane assaulted a 14-year-old outside his own home in 2005 after the kid mocked him. Yet Keane still carries the bitterness because Ferguson eventually had enough and showed him the door. Keane later called Ferguson a “stench” around the club and blamed him for United not moving forward. So spare everyone the act like this is just “honest punditry.” A lot of it is resentment that never left. Now his entire media career revolves around going after modern players, modern captains, and Manchester United in general because negativity keeps him relevant. Great player? Absolutely. Legend? Yes. But let’s stop pretending he was some saint who only cared about standards. There’s a reason controversy followed him during his career and long after it ended. Even Nottingham Forest — the club where it all started for him — distanced themselves from him for years. Roy Keane’s problem is simple: Ferguson ended the Roy Keane era before Roy Keane was ready for it to end, and he has never truly gotten over it.

Look, let’s be very clear here, and I want the Ghanaian people to pay close attention. I have always said: I am not a disrespectful person. I just have very strong opinions, and I state them forcefully because the facts back me up. And the facts on the ground right now show that what we inherited from the previous minister, Ursula Owusu, was absolute chaos masquerading as digital transformation. Let’s talk about this NITA Bill and the noise people are making about these fees. You have people shouting on Twitter, saying we are stifling innovation. Let me educate them. Do you know what we found when we took over the National Information Technology Agency? State capture. Pure and simple. Under the previous NPP administration, they engaged in third-party contracts that literally swept revenue away from the state. Services were running on NITA’s own infrastructure, built with taxpayers' money, yet the revenue was being funneled into a private third-party firm! When we walked into the office, NITA—the entire National IT Agency of Ghana—had a bank balance at the Bank of Ghana of exactly 25 Ghana Cedis and 8 pesewas! GHS 25.08! Meanwhile, the agency was left saddled with a debt hanging over its neck to the tune of over 813 million Ghana Cedis! So when people look at a GHS 30,000 licensing fee for a cybersecurity provider and start crying, they need to ask themselves: how do we rebuild a broken state asset? How do we build a deliberate, resilient digital architecture anchored on trust if the state regulator is broke? But let’s even come to the technical incompetence of how they ran things. The tech community is complaining about infrastructure. They are right! Look at the very website hosting these draft bills. It is a joke! You have a ministry under the previous regime that couldn’t even secure its own basic web footprint. You run basic recon on a government domain, and what do you see? Default directory structures left completely wide open. The /wp-content/uploads/ path is exposed for the whole world to see. Server headers are out there loudly broadcasting their entire stack—Apache, HTML5, WPBakery Page Builder—like it's a student project! They left wp-admin paths vulnerable while claiming they were running a world-class digital economy. It is textbook 'do as I say, not as I code.' We cannot run a serious country like that. That is why we are tightening controls. We are working directly with the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) to ensure that no government agency can just wake up and buy duplicate IT systems to double-spend state funds. We recently blocked an IT procurement by the GRA and Ministry of Finance because when NITA reviewed it, we realized our critical, sensitive national trade data was going to be hosted outside this country. That is a massive national security risk! Under Ursula, that would have slipped right through because nobody was checking the architecture. Notice is served. We are introduced to a new dispensation. We are sanitizing the space with the Data Protection Bill, the Emerging Technologies Bill for AI, and the NITA Bill. We will fix the infrastructure, we will hold compliance to a strict standard, and if you are operating outside the law or deliberately pushing misinformation to derail this ecosystem, the law will catch up with you. We are bringing order to the chaos they left behind.

Imagine Ursula Owusu was the Minister and she did this. Speak like Sam George on a panel describing this bill???

Pass a bill mandating that 95% of all state funded technology contracts go to or through Ghanaian companies on merit. Open tender. Published online. No back room deals. No friends and family. That is the bill we need.

Here is what would make me pay that levy with a smile. Pass a bill mandating that 95% of all state funded technology contracts go to or through Ghanaian companies on merit. Open tender. Published online. No back room deals. No friends and family. That is the bill we need.

You are using Lorem Ipsum on your website, and you're trying to charge me 20k for "license"? A whole government website. Supposed ICT Authority. Scrap the whole organisation. What a flipping joke.

Three men lost their lives on Monday protecting their community. Amin Abdullah, the security guard and father of 8, stood in front of the gunmen so 140 children could hide. Mansour Kaziha, a pillar of the mosque for nearly 40 years, called 911. Nader Awad ran toward the danger to draw the shooters away. They were fathers, husbands, pillars of their mosque. They chose others over themselves. Our hearts are with their families and the entire Muslim community of San Diego. Islamophobia kills. This is not a debate. It’s reality. 🤍 Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn

@Bill_Eshun Is it not the truth? Our Sports ministry is actually a ministry that only cares about the black stars, simple. All other disciplines are suffering a dn even football and it's development in Ghana is in tatters.

The Ministry of Sports in Ghana needs to better, don’t set us for failure. If it was “black stars” flights tickets will be ready month prior to their game. 14hrs flight 16hrs lay over is not acceptable for professional athletes. We running with jet lag,no proper recovery.
