They unfortunately cut the part where Gil’s attack targets the church, and Richard decides to use his body to counter it.
It’s most unfortunate that reactors and non-ln readers aren’t paying attention to the dialogue where Gil explains this. They think Rich just got defeated out of nowhere.
While it’s sad not seeing Rich’s face when he decides to sacrifice himself, it’s sadder than people just - can’t read.

@TheMashStan The certain people think a1 has adapted fate strange fake perfectly 100%, when you then realize they've cut a ton of dialogue and moments to focus on the fights, but of course, ufotable is the only one doing that, so they're the worst.

Ah yes, F/SF having a great adaptation means our other great(yes, GREAT, I'm not hearing it). Ufotable adaptations are now shit, mid and/or overated. Even though as actual adaptations of the WRITING, they're doing the same thing. Wish I could be as ungrateful as some of you man.
