@KuperSimon Ridiculous comment. He managed Middlesbrough for several seasons and by all accounts did a good job. Ditto as a Man Utd coach in harness with Kieran McKenna.

Because ex-players with little coaching experience make great coaches, especially ex-Man Utd players who played under Ferguson like Keane, Gary Neville, Stam, Solskjaer, Van Nistelrooy etc. I know it's just a 4-month caretaking job, but bizarre to see this level of stupidity

@rogermosey Agree with the first two (especially American Fiction) - couldn’t get on with the third. The Holdovers and Oppenheimer for me…

Before we find out what actually won at the #BAFTAs, a word for three movies I preferred to the official Top 5: Past Lives, American Fiction and All of Us Strangers.

@rogermosey This endless promoting by the BBC of its own programmes is getting tiresome. A. Stop wasting time with this on a news programme and B. Find some original arts/news stories that don’t involve the Oscars or Traitors.

The BBC News at Six is asking the big question of journalism: why is Traitors such a hit for the BBC? Soon we can tune into the One Show where the special guest is Claudia Winkelman. Oh, and the BBC News website has a feature on her fashion secrets. bbc.co.uk/news/entertain…

@rogermosey @j_amesmarriott Just plain wrong in the case of Oppenheimer. Three hours of utterly absorbing, compelling cinema. People’s attention spans - including critics - seem shorter these. They’ve watching too many 45-min episode streaming dramas.

@AmandaPCraig Lawrence retrospectively, Gandhi when it came out. Yes I’m well over 45. Perhaps attention spans are shorter these days?

@hermir10 When did you watch those? How old were you? More 45+ cinema goers than under 45 ( I believe).
