Introducing Haeckel, the first platform from @HeruGenomics Built to take you to your biological limit, and to design the humans who come after. After months in stealth, I open Haeckel to the world, still pre-v1 but at the threshold where the next phase demands a network. A 21-day sprint to ship v1 begins now. At the heart of Haeckel is a digital Mirror that wasn't made to assist you but to become you. Trained on your own biology, every marker, every risk, every ancestral line in you, Mirror grows more precise with every conversation, every flicker across your face. You live inside your experience; Mirror sees you from the outside. Mirror reads your DNA in any format: consumer chips, whole genome sequencing, raw sequencer files. It traces your ancestry across 60+ populations and 100,000 years: the migrations your lineage followed, the historical figures you descend from, the Neanderthal and Denisovan still in your code. It predicts your disease risk across heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's, cancer, depression: what you'll develop, when, and how likely. It knows how every medication moves through you: codeine, statins, blood thinners, chemotherapy. Your prescriptions fit from the first dose, drawing on the full clinical corpus including the highest-severity warnings consumer platforms omit. It measures your genetic ceiling, cognitive and physical, and how far beneath it you stand. For rare variants clinical databases have never classified, we apply DNA foundation models to interpret them from first principles rather than leave them as "uncertain significance" and forgotten. Mirror speaks back. You ask why your body burns through what slows another, why a medication worked or did not, why an illness ran through your father's side, and it answers with the physiology and the history. This is Haeckel's core purpose: to optimize you to the extreme by fusing your genomic code with your lived phenotype, your sleep, your recovery, your labs, and the frontier AI that reads both. It tells you what to take, when to train, when to rest. It treats your life as a study and you as the cohort of one. Networks. A Haeckel module where groups form around specific genetic traits, operating as super-families or Männerbünde, optimizing relentlessly along whatever axis they choose. With enough phenotypic data, genotypes, and extended genotypes, you build high-performance cohorts that span generations. Senior members back juniors, funding their development and mentorship, with capital held in trust that vests when they turn 18 and sign on. Networks also connect you to those who share your haplogroups and polygenic architecture across diasporas and centuries, and to the ancients whose genomes we hold alongside yours: Ötzi, Tutankhamun, Cheddar Man, Beethoven, a Viking, a Neanderthal. Because the genome specifies not just where you came from but what you and your descendants might become, Haeckel extends forward too. Where the law allows, and only within supervised clinical contexts, IVF embryos run through a dedicated module that lets AI choose the best. All of this is live. What Haeckel doesn't have yet is the dataset built with users, genome by genome, life by life. Face prediction, intelligence, the deeper polygenic traits: none possible at usable precision today without it. When it surpasses today's biobanks in scale and in the coupling of genome to phenotype, we will design drugs for specific genotypes, predict disease before it forms, and reveal capabilities the human species has never named. Why does the dataset matter? A dataset combining phenotypic and genotypic data, augmented with extended phenotype measurements captured over years, would enable embryo selection for its members and allow optimization of polygenic traits currently intractable or severely constrained: IQ, personality dimensions, creativity, facial morphology. In essence, superhuman offspring for our users within a few years. Our species must push itself to the extreme, explore the right tail of the distribution through every means within reach, without turning back, continuing the transformation we've carried since our primitive ancestors were devoured by beasts: toward a new human species, or perhaps inhuman. Health is not what drives me. Human perfection is. Until this century gives rise to something far more advanced across every axis: the conventional capacities and the unconventional ones we possess but have never learned to inhabit. I will not stop, and no one can stop me if those who share this vision unite in a perfectly structured network and see it through. A minuscule fraction will be hyper-optimized by ASI: lineages that operate as its physical vectors in the aspects of biology where artificial intelligence cannot intervene, the advanced nanotechnology forged by billions of years of selection. These humans in symbiosis with ASI will embody the artist-tyrant: sovereign will over living matter, Leonardo Da Vinci and Alexander the Great amplified by orders of magnitude. Haeckel is the first step on that path, and the first humans designed to survive extreme conditions on other worlds. We should already possess the stars. Why do we move so slowly? This is unworthy of us. Through directed evolution, we must become what we should have been thousands of years ago. We need new people, built differently, to one day storm the heavens with the final unfolding of this cosmic egg that incubates around the sun. This last capacity is addressed more fully in the Heritage reply below. What Haeckel doesn't have yet is a dataset built with users, genome by genome, life by life. Face prediction, intelligence, and the deeper polygenic traits wait on that dataset; they aren't possible at usable precision today. When it surpasses today's biobanks in both scale and the coupling of genome to phenotype, we will predict faces and intelligence with a precision no current research cohort can approach, design drugs for specific genotypes, predict disease before it forms, and reveal capabilities the human species has never named.
