Heeseung saying that ENHYPEN was his first career is not a drag the way some of you are trying to twist it. It’s actually the most professional and respectful way to describe it!!
In the real world, esp in corporate settings, when a company keeps pushing the “we’re a family” narrative, that’s usually a red flag. Because “family” often means blurred boundaries and unrecognized labor. At the end of the day, work is work & you give your skills, your time, and your output, and in return you should be properly compensated and respected.
And Heeseung did give everything. Not just what was required but beyond that. He contributed to musicality, recorded extra layers, did background vocals, adlibs, vocal direction, research things that many don’t even see. He even shared credit where he didn’t have to. That’s not bare minimum & that’s someone going above and beyond as a professional!
But somehow, some of you still expect more from him? more sacrifice, more giving, more carrying when not everyone is held to the same standard??
At some point, it stops being “teamwork” and starts looking like the oldest child being expected to carry the weight so others can take it easy!!
Let’s be real: they are not his family. And even within real families or close friendships, that level of constant self-sacrifice isn’t something you demand from one person!!!
We’re in 2026. Stop glorifying burnout and self-sacrifice. Supporting someone also means allowing them to grow, evolve, and pursue their own path.
You can’t say you believe in self-love and individuality, then expect him to stay small just to make others comfortable!
And the contradiction is wild, if he stays, you question his lines; if he leaves, you call him selfish? Pick a struggle!

🦌: even so... seeing you made my heart feel alot more at ease
🦌: noona, you’re still here just like before
there’s something quietly meaningful about the words “you’re still here.” for someone like heeseung, whose life is constantly shifting between different stages, countries and faces, a familiar presence can feel grounding in ways we don’t always see. it’s a kind of reassurance that despite everything changing around him, something has remained steady.
when a fan wins multiple calls, it shouldn’t be seen as “taking someone else’s place.” if anything, they’re offering him a sense of comfort. that shy smile doesn’t just come from the interaction itself but from the familiarity, the fact that he doesn’t have to start over every time. he can just exist in that moment without pressure.
fans who have been there consistently, from the beginning until now, carry a different kind of presence. they’ve witnessed his growth, his quieter moments, the ups and downs that don’t always get seen and i think that kind of continuity creates a sense of trust for him. something stable in an environment that’s always changing.
when one person helps him feel at ease, it doesn’t take anything away from others. if anything, it reflects something positive for all of us because at the end of the day, what matters is that he feels supported, understood and comfortable enough to keep going.
so instead of looking at it with “why them,” maybe it’s better to think, “i’m glad he has someone like that.” because loving an artist isn’t about competition, it’s about wanting them to feel seen, remembered and at peace in the moments they share with us.
if someone’s presence brings that light into his eyes then that’s something worth appreciating and in the end, no matter how many times we get the chance to talk to him, the intention stays the same → to be someone who gives him even a small reason to smile 🥹
