@awsaxton disabling an account that owns a dw in fabric bricks the DW? And there is no way to transfer ownership?!

Microsoft Fabric is GA today. What a day! Now the real fun is starting. Just look at the massive Fabric update of November. It took me a minute to just scroll through the table of contents... blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/mic…

@mim_djo :) No - it is not a bug and is intentional for all SQL as well as Spark operations to be background so you can leverage the 24 hour smoothing window.

this is really a very big deal, I just noticed that SQL Queries in #Fabric are considered a background operations, it means the workload is spread over 24 hours, this is amazing !!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉

@heydharini workspace level to be honest, it is fair to say payroll workspace will have more compute than small project that will finish in two months workspace :)

@mim_djo Sure - understand the need for both. But I'm trying to understand which one is more valuable so that we can prioritize accordingly. Thanks!

@mim_djo Thanks @mim_djo for testing this already and sharing your valuable feedback. We plan to add SKU level limits as a first step and adding guardrails is in our backlog for future. What guard rails would be valuable? And capacity or workspace level?

I presume they will add some "guardrails" I don't see F2 scaling to 72 Compute units !!! what if someone run a massive Query and run away
