In the defense of Jean Grey first appearance in the MCU being BND (from a buisness standpoint) The last cinematic appearance of Jean Grey was Dark Phoenix, which bombed critically and commercially. The general audiences being reintroduced to this character via the MCUs Spider-Man, which outside of The Avengers is Marvel Studios most popular IP. So if she is Jean, then appearing in arguably the most anticipated movie of 2026 is smart

A24's TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. @DEADLINE reports that A24 is developing a TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE TV series from JT Mollner (Strange Darling). Glen Powell is producing, along with Spooky Pictures. The site notes, "A movie is also in early development with the same producing team & ImageNation."

We’ve pretty much upended the story, and then spent a great deal of time on the treatment, which he finished literally about four weeks ago. And it’s a very detailed treatment, like 70 pages.
